In 2001, Ken Taunton leveraged his proven track record of leading mid- to senior-level executive searches for public and private companies and founded the The Royster Group. He is passionate about finding creative solutions to solve a client’s human capital needs and pursues all avenues from permanent placement to temporary project staffing.
Prior to establishing The Royster Group, Mr. Taunton was a Senior Associate with Korn/Ferry International, recruiting senior-level executives in the Healthcare, Financial, and Public Services industries. Prior to entering the executive search industry, Mr. Taunton was with Merck & Company holding various positions including six years as a Professional Sales Representative. He has been quoted in the Wall Street Journal, featured in the Atlanta Tribune Magazine and BIZGeorgia.com.
Mr. Taunton is a member of the Board of Directors of the Georgia Minority Supplier Development Council (GMSDC) and was Board Chair from 2007 through 2009. Mr. Taunton earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a Masters of Business Administration degree from Mercer University’s Stetson School of Business.
Letitia D. Royster, M.D. is a founding partner of The Royster Group and serves as Chief Medical Officer. Dr. Royster is a native of Montgomery, Alabama and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and her Medical Degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine. She then attended the University of South Alabama where she completed her residency in OBGYN.
After completing her residency, Dr. Royster joined My OBGYN in 1997 providing both obstetrical and gynecological care. She is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is a member of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and the Medical Association of Georgia.
